Nice! I agree with Dorothy about the southern feel of the photos. I really like the spot of red in the 2nd image.

thanks! the spot of red, to me, is what made the shot worth taking. I just wish that it could have been a little larger. I tried several different compositions and overall found this one to be the most pleasing overall, with the exception of the red bench being a little smaller than desired

For whatever my opinion is worth I believe that you could have easily overpowered the image with this deeply saturated red. I think a little bit went a long way. If it were my image I'd try a tighter crop to get rid of the blank expanse of sky and water on the left side. You would lose a little of the tops of the trees but as long as you kept the palms, which speak of Florida, I think it would look good. You would also satisfy your desire to make the bench more prominent. Regardless, it's a very nice image.
