Looks like Im the first new post in this section in quite a while 
I am excited to see a forum of local photographers!
My name is David, moved here from Louisiana last year. I was a coastal biologist there, working on alot of coastal restoration/monitoring. Before that was in school at LSU in Renewable Natural Resources, so i sort of have a history of loving the outdoors. Got into photography somewhere along the line a few years back.
I shoot Pentax, unfortunatly my current long lens lineup is small, i just have the kit 55-300 zoom and a s-m-c takumar 200mm f4.
I would love to meet up and get out with anyone else going out. I feel like its good for the hobby to see other peoples perspectives/techniques.
