These Monarch butterflies are migrating to Pesmo Beach, California by the thousands. They come from Canada down to Pesmo and then back up to Canada. I understand it takes four generations of butterflies to make the trip full circle. Sometimes they travel 275 to 1,00 miles a day, I am told. Pretty amazing, I'd say...
