While visiting on Cape Cod, MA, last month I went on another whale watch. What a day! There were Humpback Whales all around the boat, feeding on the fish. They do this by diving, not very deep, releasing air so it makes a light green spot on the surface, then they drive the fish up and scoop them in. The sea birds were all around trying to catch some of the leftovers! This whale has just come up and has his mouth closed. You can see some water coming out at the corner. This whale is diving but he won't go deep. This whale still has his mouth open as he breaks the surface, this was a common sight. More photos on my site.
