Cracker, what a fine photo! Look at the trail he made in the mud. Where were you in a tree? Looks like you took this from a high area. Nice job. How big was he?

I took this from an elevated boardwalk on the La Chua Trail in Payne's Prairie. I don't know of any one place in Florida that has so many large gators. This one was only about 8 feet. What caught my eye in this photo was the way the curve of the gator's body mirrored the curve of the shoreline and the color. Thanks for your kind comments and I apologize for taking so long to respond.
