thank you bob, its tough when the only camera you can afford is a simple point and shoot but these little cameras sometime can take some beautiful photoes too. we need to encourage all the people who have an interest in this to not get discouraged by the fact that they dont have the pro camera and to join in with their little cameras as well. thats why im trying my best to show what these little cameras can do

The ones with a macro funtion can be very helpful with the small animals, butterflys, frogs, etc. This is a photo I took with a Sony Mavica (it's only a 1.6 Mega Pixel camera).................

Point and shoot camera are mighty fine..You have a good eye and that is what you need to take a good photo! Of course, I'm dreaming of a 400 length lens, but for now my point and shoot, and rebel works pretty good for many shots...
