The Limpkin Chicks at the Viera Wetlands are now six days old. A few shots from today......... 1. An Adult guarding the chicks from the top of the berm. They had no issue with me being in the area, in fact, they were feeding the chicks apple snails within 2' from where I was sitting. But..... if another bird species came near the chicks, the adult would come running down the hill squawking loudly and would chase the intruder away. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Ira, your photography blows me away...What a beautiful job you do capturing wildlife. Just love your work and captures...Wow!
