Baltimore Oriole

I have a pair of Baltimore Oriole staying around my backyard. One is a young male just starting to turn to his adult colors. you can see his breast is changing and his head is going black. Hopefully the ywill staying and make a nest and raise some young. You can see they love grape jelly since i put it out they come in fairly regular.

Nice captures, Bob. That's a beautiful bird. Linda said she had one in her yard too, but I've yet to see one here. I don't think I have any grape jelly..

Put ount oranges and grape jelly and see if any come in. The yellow-rumped warbler like the jelly as well. Or come down to my house and sit in my shed.

Those Orioles are beautiful. What a beautiful bird.

I heard that ya'll had some bad weather in Citrus County...Did it affect you or your birds?

No real effect, except the retention ponds have a little water in them. I think the birds were pretty happy about all the rain!
