I've just joined the forum. I am excited to be back in photography but am new to the wildlife genre. Thanks to Maureen I've found this forum and the Florida Wildlife & Nature forum!
I am a New England transplant (central Mass, near Worcester). I have been in/out of photography for 35 years, mostly in a professional bent; doing personal, events, and commercial photography. Well I'm back in again but now for myself.
I'm still learning about this end of photography. I use Nikon gear D700, 70-300 VR, 50 f1.8, 80-200 f2.8, 17-35 f2.8, 24-85, and a bunch of other stuff.
My other profession is computer software/hardware engineering, consulting, repair/installation, and networking.
Thank you to Maureen for pointing me this way!!

Welcome...Thank you for your comments...This is the greatest forum...I learned about the Bird and Wildlife Festival in Titusville from the Forum...We traveled in our RV from California (in the "cold") this January, and it was a fantastic experience. I'm sure you will enjoy the forum as much as I am!

Thank you Dorothy! We are snowbirds for the time being, but are beginning to love the area even more than our first impressions. I hope you are still here to enjoy the "normal" weather we are having now. I don't complain about the cold as we left New England after 3 snow storms in December and just before another set in Jan. Even though it was 30 degrees at night here it was still 10 degrees above the day time high up there :{o
You take some wonderful pictures, please keep contributing to the forum. I'm learning from everything I see !!
