Great Photo. How do you know where all this stuff is? This the kinds of things other than birds i like to photograph. I did get the oldest Post office in Florida a while back. Someone told me about it.

Being a Florida native helps and I still tend to travel on backroads in lieu of the interstates. This mill is special to me because my father helped build it and the springs back in the 30's when he was in the Civilian Conservation Corps Where is the oldest post office by the way?.

You go south on 441 , go past Micanopy look for the sign that says Evinston. Go down that road until the end . turn left and it right there. It was closed when i was there, but there is a general store as well

Thanks. I'm familiar with Evinston, it's near Orange Lake and Cross Creek. I never realized it had a landmark. I'll have to head up that way soon.

Nice shot, Ron. Is this millhouse right in the Juniper Springs park? I've been canoeing and swimming there a few times, but I don't recall seeing this building.

The millhouse is at the opposite end of the swimming area from the concession store. I hit it on a cold overcast day so no one was swimming.
