Red Bellied Woodpecker

I seen to have had a number of photo ops on the Red bellied woodpecker. Here is a series a different Red bellied and what they do to entice me to take their photos.

Coming in to the feeders, they really like peanuts and sunflower seeds

Bob, how come those red bellied woodpeckers have yellow heads? What in the world are you feeding them?

Interesting coloration, Robert. The color scheme is just like the Female Golden-fromted Woodpecker, but in the wrong location of the country for that bird.
