Since my teeth nearly exploded last week and I had to spend a bunch of time in Spring Hill getting that problem addressed, I wandered around a bit and found some new (to me) areas that I think will be wonderful for wildlife/bird photography this fall and winter. The Hernando County Audubon put together a nice pamphlet describing some of these. It's available online as a .pdf document:

It takes less than an hour from my home in Citrus Springs to get to Spring Hill and only about 15 minutes more to get out to Alfred McKethan Park (beach.) Not a bad ride at all.
