Very nice....I love the soft blue water background which sets off the bird nicely. Where is Pine Island??

Thanks for the nice comments. Ira commented that I used some pretty wild camera settings for these pictures and he was absolutely right - not sure where my brain was yesterday.
I went to Pine Island to play around with my new 70-200mm lens. So far, I'm really pleased with the lens.
Linda, Pine Island is near Spring Hill. It's an easy drive right down 19 from Homosassa. There are a few places to explore there. This time of year the beach is really really crowded, so you need to get there early (I think the beach opens at 8.) It may be a great place for the four (or more) of us to explore one day once the weather cools a bit.
