Eagle

I'm not a birder (but I'm learning!) so I may be incorrect about this bird. The photo was taken in Denali N.P. and people said it was an eagle.

Hmmm, Linda, I have to think that might be a Golden Eagle. Certainly not a mature Bald Eagle and the immature ones are usually not as evenly colored as this one. What an exciting capture for you! It looks as if you are looking down on it, were you in a plane or copter?

Yes, Jean, I believe you are right. They said it was a golden eagle. The first few photos were taken from a bus window but not the last one for which I was outside.
