After getting rained out at Lake Bevery I headed home but it looked clearer to the west so I headed over to the Preserve. On the side of the road to the preserve, just past the drive to Mullet Hole was a group of pigs, maybe 4 or 5. I stopped the truck and grabbed my camera to take a couple of shots. Most of the pigs headed into the brush but I did manage to get these 2 before a bicyclist went on by me and scared them off. I guess the cyclist sees them a lot so didn't care about them, wish he has been a bit more considerate since my stopping and camera must have made it plain I wanted to get photos. Oh well, now I know to be on the the lookout for the 4 legged critters in that area.

Great capture, Jean.
These piggies are all over the place at the preserve. They make me nervous. I've heard stories about how aggressive they can be.

They were pretty skittish of the truck but I wouldn't want to be on foot and meet up with a bunch of them, especially a sow with some piglets.

They make anyone nervous, but you must hold your ground and they will leave. The only time they get real agressive if they have babies or are cornerd.
