This is one of a couple red tails that have been around my area of Pine Ridge. I think they fledged recently, they are very noisy, calling for parents, etc.   |

Nice shots. I love the second one. I'll have to keep an eye out for the red tailed hawks. I often see the red shouldered here but have only seen a couple of the red tailed.

Thanks Maureen. I hear them a lot but it is hard to get photos. They are rather leery of being watched, will fly off if they see me moving around trying to get a photo.

Nice work on the hawks. I also like the second one. Once they start screaming they get loud.
