The lighting was awful and this chick was very high up on a power pole, but here he/she is, watching and waiting for the parents to return.   |

Great Find and shot. I have never seen a Red Shouldered chick. You should get a variety of shots when the parents bring food for the chick

I'm going to try to do just that, Bob. I heard about the nest just yesterday and it was not a great time of the day. I plan to go back early one morning and see what I can get.
