As luck would have it. i was coming home with some mulch when i saw this chuck-will's-widow on a post near Citrus hills blvd, where the golf carts cross the road. I had to run home get the camera and come back. There it was still on the post where i first saw it. I hear them at night this time of the year, but had not seen one. This one was asleep on the post until i got a little to close. He flew to the nearest house and landed on the roof, fortunate for me the house was vacant.
